COP28 will highlight the critical role of nature in limiting global warming to 1.5°C, aligning with the Global Biodiversity Framework set at COP15. Holistic ocean planning amidst rising marine use and environmental pressures is essential. This panel will bring together members of the UN Global Compact’s multi-stakeholder working group to discuss challenges/opportunities to successful biodiversity positive ORE actions from a private sector innovation and public-private partnerships perspective.
