Information
The world is not on track to meet the Paris Agreement goals. Interest in marine Carbon Dioxide Removal (mCDR) technologies, which aim to enhance ocean’s uptake and storage of carbon, is growing. Yet, concerns arise about their efficiency and potential impacts on nature and people. This event will bring together leading scientists and experts to engage in a meaningful dialogue on this critical issue. Closing remarks will be provided by Dr Melanie Jans-Singh from the UK.
